Covid 19

There are currently no covid restrictions in place.  Should that change we will email players to advise.

  Signing this waiver:

"I release and discharge, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, the organisers, the facility, its members, employees and sponsors and all persons associated with the festival from all claims, damages, rights of action present or future which may arise in connection with my participation in the Festival. I understand that filming and photographs will be taken at this event and I give permission to Isle of Man Pickleball Festival to use the creative content to advertise, promote or showcase the event. I understand that it is my responsibility to make it known that I do not wish to have my picture taken or my games filmed.  This event is primarily for adults over 18 years of age, however we do appreciate that many young people play Pickleball along with their parents we won’t have specific courts for under 18 year olds, if they attend they will need to play in adult matches. Persons under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times."

EVENT FORMAT

This is a Festival and as such, all play will be of a social nature, with no round robins, leagues or knockouts and no trophies or medals will be awarded.

At check-in, each player will be given a magnet with their name and chosen skill category on it.  These will be used to control the scheduling of games in conjunction with magnet boards. Although players will be asked to specify their skill category as part of the online registration, this can be changed during the day if required.

All games will be doubles but there might be capacity for some singles towards the end of the day.

Taped lines will be used to create full NVZ's.
